A oil catch can was installed for the transaxle and valve cover vents.

Speed sensor - I used the FF5 supplied bracket, trimmed off part of the sensor bracket so I could bolt to two together. Once I know that it works then I will locktite.
Ground Straps - I put one on the motor and on the transaxle.
Clutch line - clutch line complete I used a 24" flex line to come over the top of the transaxle.

Battery install - Battery went in with out having to remove any of the A/C components. I also bought a battery tender to keep the battery up to ful charge when not in use.
E-Brake - I have a working ebrake with out any modifications. The drivers side is ok but I might put a spacer in to give it that extra inch.
Kooks - I have it bolted down and it all lines up. I did have to phone Shane to get a few pointers to get that good fit. I did have to cut down the kooks supports because this is the Mendeola as these brackets were made for another transaxle.
All looking good now just waiting for the aluminum tanks from Ron.

Some pictures of the mendeola being installed and starter with the pipe install. The Mendeola has the new bellhousing to except the stock starter. The starter has allot of room around it so it should be alot easier to manage than when you had to use the IMI high tourque starter.

The Mendeola inatall what a task to line up to the motor. First installed the flywheel, clutch and pressure plate that was the easy part. Once the transaxle was installed went to put the back mount on and there was a place that was touching. Used the grinder to notch out. I have also added to videos for this install.

I picked up the Mendeol Transaxle at the Border. There is a storage place in Sweetgrass Montana that I had it delivered to. Sure saved on the shipping. The extra boxes in the shipping crate are the Kepp clutch, pressure plate and CV joints. I had Ian send all peices so I got the right stuff. I also had to take out the shifter again to mount the pin for the shifter cable. Had to tap it and tread the pin on also put a lock nut on the back.

Today i received the new short shifter from TWM preformance. I will post a video on the shifter change over.

After doing some research I found out that the shifter in the GTM is in backwards compared to the Corolla. So when in the GTM the shifter has a bend in it that points away from the driver. After more research and checking out Kempo's build I ordered a short shifter from TWM out of Montreal. Plus the shifter Knob that Factory Five sent was the wrong pattern. With the Mendeola transaxle only being a 5 speed, the shift pattern is like a 6 speed. They did this as one day the will be making a six speed.

I received the transaxle mount, the shim kit for the diffuser and shifter with cables. The bracket for the original shifter that had the rods had to be cut out. To cut this off I just used the saber saw and in ten minutes it was gone. The cable shifter mount and bracket were just to big and would not fit. With the bracket out of the way all peices for the shifter fit perfect. I rivnuted the bracket in place it worked out fine.
